Our Institute has started a new course B.E in -Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in the Academic year 2020-2021.

Highlights of The Department:

Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is one of the emerging areas out of 10 special categories identified by AICTE and MHRD which can meet the upcoming requirements of the Industrial Revolution. Artificial Intelligence is a major step forward in how computer system adapts, evolves and learns. It has widespread application in almost every industry and is considered to be a big technological shift, similar in scale to past events such as the industrial revolution, the computer age, and the smart phone revolution.

The course covers the core principles of Data Science, the process of ethically acquiring,  engineering, analyzing, visualizing and ultimately monetizing data. It equips it with the basic tools and techniques of data handling, exploratory data analysis, data visualization and data-based inference.

Salient Features of the Course

  1. Artificial Intelligence (AI) deals with the intelligence demonstrated by machines to design solutions to problems by observing the environmental changes.
    ii. Data Science (DS) deals with the analysis of huge volume of data to reveal hidden patterns and correlations to get new insights.
     iii. One among the most demanding, highest paid job and future scope of IT & Telecom industry.
     iv. Applications like Alexa/Siri, Erica/Sophia, Tesla’s driverless car, Chatbot etc are becoming common.
     v. AI powered Robots can take over human life endangering jobs like firefighting, deep sea oil drilling, mining works with high mortality rate etc.
