Program Outcomes [po] for UG

1.      Graduates shall make their way to the society with proper scientific and technical knowledge in mechanical engineering.

2.      Graduates shall work in design and analysis of mechanical systems with strong fundamentals and methods of synthesis.

3.      Graduates shall adapt to the rapidly changing environment in the areas of mechanical engineering and scale new heights in their profession through lifelong learning.

4.         Graduates shall excel in career by their ability to work and communicate effectively as a team member and/or leader to complete the task with minimal resources, meeting deadlines.

5.         To model, analyze, design and realize physical systems, components or process by applying principles of thermal engineering, machine design, Mechatronics and Control Engineering.

6.      To work professionally in industries or as an entrepreneur by applying manufacturing and management practices.

7.      Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specific needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety i.e. solution towards climatic changes offered by mechanical exhausts.

8.      Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles and apply these to complete projects in multidisciplinary environments.

1.      Analyze principles of energy mechanisms to solve a wide range of thermal engineering problems.

2.      Understanding of analysis, synthesis and control manufacturing operations using statistical and calculus based methods, simulations and information technology.

3.      Emphasizes systems approach to automotive design.

4.      Develop adequate interpersonal skills to solve managerial and technical issues.
